On Thursday night we had officially ran out of food. So we had breakfast/ anything left in the house for dinner! I use Louisiana hot sauce for my fried eggs because the ingredients are Paleo.
Friday I went to work and had a banana that I was going to eat for breakfast but was starving by the time I got there so I ran to Whole foods and got some sausage and fruit with a spinach/lemon/apple juice. And for lunch I had the MOST delicious bison ribs (yes, again) with cabbage and kale.
For dinner on Friday night we met our friends Brittany and her hubby Chad and it was so much fun! It is always better to go with other Paleo people because it is fun to see how the waiter is when we order such crazy food. We went to this tasty place called Burger Up and I got a grass-fed beef burger, no bun, with bacon, guacamole and a fried egg. I also got a side of sweet potato fries which were the booommbbb! I was craving something junk foody like fries and these hit the spot.
Today (Saturday) Matt and I woke up and ran some errands! We went to Target. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. We ate at Whole Foods and here is a picture of our plates.
I got all the ingredients to make Paleo Meatballs.
Paleo Meatballs
What you Need:
-2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 3 eggs
-3 carrots (shredded)
-3 stalks of celery (shredded)
-Garlic (about 6 cloves, diced)
-Spices (salt, pepper, red pepper, oregano, basil, onion powder)
-2 large cans of Marinara sauce
Add all of your ingredients together minus the marinara and mix together with your hands.
While I am waiting I decided to try out a recipe I found on my friend Brittany's blog for Paleo coffee creamer. Check it out! Coffee Creamer
Mine is sitting in my fridge waiting for me to buy a coffee maker and to make coffee. We are heading today to get one and I can't wait to finally have a working one at home.
I wil post pictures of the meatballs with spaghetti squash later tonight. Hope everyone has a great weekend :)
